Don’t wait until feis day to eat the right foods. Start now! You may not realize this, but it is one of the most important aspects of your training. You cannot train well if you are not fueled properly. Eating foods that provide the vitamins and minerals that your body needs will give you plenty of energy and make your training more effective. If your training is more effective, then you will see more progress in the areas you are trying to improve. This will then transition to support your dancing and you will see the results that you are hoping for!

Now, I realize that a lot of people have food allergies or don’t do well with certain foods. Find what works for you! There are so many nutrient rich foods out there to choose from that you should be able to find plenty of options. Also, there is nothing wrong with having a “treat” if you would like one, as long as your body (and your mom) is okay with that and you are already eating the foods that provide the nutrients your body needs to perform.
