Every dancer has something that he/she would like to improve. Don’t assume that training or dancing MORE hours will automatically make that improvement. It’s the QUALITY of the work you’re doing that will make a difference. Pick exercises that are SPECIFIC to what you want to improve and make sure that you are performing them correctly every time you do them. Challenge yourself enough to see a difference, but not so much that you are overtraining. REST and RECOVERY in between training sessions are just as important as the training itself. This is the time that your body needs to heal and rebuild. So focus on the QUALITY of what you are doing and avoid overtraining yourself into an injury.
